Growing and strengthening the Catholic faith in the Community we serve.

Young Adult Ministry

"The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has defined young adults as “persons in their late teens, twenties, and thirties who represent diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, educational, vocational, social, political, and spiritual backgrounds. They are college and university students, workers, and professionals; they are persons in military service; they are single, married, divorced, or widowed; they are with or without children; they are newcomers in search of a better life."

Cor Jesu

All are invited to continue to grow in intimate prayer with Praise & Worship music and the Sacraments at COR JESU. Cor Jesu is a Latin phrase for "Heart of Jesus." It is an opportunity for anyone in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to continue to encounter Christ through Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, Praise & Worship, and Mass. Cor Jesu is hosted by numerous parishes around the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The nearest parish to SOTH that hosts Cor Jesu is Holy Family in Fond du Lac.

Arise

Our Mission: To invite people to meet Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church and engage in a life of discipleship through Sacraments, prayer, Scripture, and community.
Our Vision: To be an instrument of the New Evangelization, inspiring Catholics to fall in love with the God who loved them first.

Meet other young adults in your area at Theology on Tap, a summer speaker series taking place at sites throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The closest Theology on Tap to SOTH is hosted by Holy Family at Schmitty's Oarhouse in Fond du Lac on Tuesday nights in July. Free drinks, snacks and presentation about people making a difference in our world, nation and neighborhood.

 Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’m Not a Young Adult? Theology-on-Tap is designed to address the needs, questions and interests of young adults in their 20s and 30s. We ask that the age range be respected.

What is the Cost? There is no cost to attend. Food and drink are free. This round is on us!

Do I Have to Register in Advance?  No need to register! Just bring yourself, a friend and an open mind.

What if I Don’t Drink Alcohol? To some the name Theology-on-Tap suggests that this program promotes the use of alcohol. To others it suggests a relaxed, social environment where young adults gather. Although most sites do offer beer and wine, all sites offer alternatives such as soda and water for those who do not wish to drink. There is no pressure to drink at any of the sites.
