RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE GOALS
Research and Planning – Conduct
research that builds a foundation for following through on recruitment
goals. Develop a recruitment plan that integrates this research.
Leadership: Staff & Volunteers – Have in place a committee to carry out
the recruitment plan/goals, internally and externally including
volunteers and paid staff.
Prospective Student Identification – Develop a comprehensive student
identification plan that includes fostering relationships with various
publics. (Parish, neighborhood markets, siblings) Store and retrieve
information for future use.
Public Relations and Advertising – Build awareness both internally and
externally that inform prospective students and their families about the
school.
Promotional Materials – Prepare and distribute materials to prospective
students and their families to promote and communicate the mission and
vision of the school.
Cultivation – Inform and involve prospective families. Invite them to
become members in our school community. Provide the families with school
information in a timely manner and contact them through staff/volunteers
who respond promptly and with knowledge to all prospects.
Events & Special Programs – Engage and involve prospective, accepted,
and current students and their families in the school community.
(Examples: hold open houses, conduct tours, etc).
Registration – Register students who are committed to attending our
school through enrollment, application and registration policies and
procedures.
Retention – Retain as many eligible students as possible every school year through clear and concise communication.
