Athletics The Shepherd of the Hills Athletic Program serves as an extension of the formation of young people in the parish. The goal of parish athletics is first and foremost to instill a spirit of Christian sportsmanship and values within our students. Parish athletics also provide an opportunity to build Christian community and to develop the athletic talents of our students. An Athletic Board assists in policy making and the administration of parish athletics.
The parish athletic program provides girls volleyball (grades 5 - 8), girls basketball (grades 3 - 8), and boys basketball (grades 3 - 8). There is also a high school age boy’s basketball team (grades 9 – 12). Parishioners and parents serve as coaches, assistants, and volunteers as part of the athletic program.
